How To Link Aadhaar With Demat Account? – (Step By Step)

Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) issued guidelines on March 8, 2023, for all brokers/brokerage firms to ask their customers to link their Aadhaar Card with a Demat account by March 31, 2023.

After this guideline, many investors got confused, and some of them faced difficulties in linking their Aadhaar Cards.

Follow these steps for linking your Aadhaar number to your Demat account online:

1. Visit NSDL Homepage

Visit the NSDL homepage and click on the “Link Aadhaar Number to Demat Account.”

3. Enter Required Details

In the next window, you’ll be asked to enter your DP ID, Client ID, and PAN details. Type all required details correctly.

4. Verify OTP

After entering the required details, an OTP will be delivered to the registered mobile number. Enter the OTP and click on the Proceed button.

In the next window, your Demat account details will be visible. Check the details and click on the Proceed button.

6. Enter your DOB and Aadhaar Number

Enter your Date of Birth and Aadhaar number carefully and click on the Submit button.

7. Authenticate with OTP

An OTP will be delivered to your Aadhaar registered mobile number; authenticate the linking process by entering the OTP.
